My senior design project involved the use of RFID to identify, store, and retrieve CDs. It was assembled from scratch and automated to build a database of items present on the shelf.
A Skyetek M1 RFID module was used to identify the items by reading an antenna embedded in a sticky label that was affixed to each CD case. A Parallax Propeller microprocessor communicated with a PC to build the database and transmit motor, tray and reader commands. -

My good friend and I built this site for our local and surrounding communities. With hundreds of places to eat, we wanted to provide a resource to people looking for their favorite restaurants or for those looking for something new.
Our goal is to provide menus to browse, make suggestions based on the time of day, and build an active community to provide dining information. -

This site was for a co-worker's brother who owns a motel in Lake George, NY. It was done in approximately two weeks to be ready in time for the season opening. We wrote a simple news script for the owners to make updates, and a page for them to upload photos. -

This was the product of a summer internship. The original site's foundation was powered by Javascript but the site itself was out of compliance, outdated, and worked only in IE. It is heavily used every day to process incoming orders for operators to fulfill, which then get packaged with the final outgoing product.
A grid based concept was sketched out before my internship, so I used that to redesign the site. The backend is still handled by the original Javascript, but the frontend is now much more accessible across all resolutions, operating systems and browsers that support JS.
